Just a few days ago,
the Chiang Mai police raided our house
and brought a bitter end of an era,
because our senior photographer Tee
became a Yaba drug trafficker.
He was stupid enough to sell the, in Thailand highly forbidden,
drug Yaba (Yah Bah) to a secret policeman
and got caught. Yah Bah is a poisonous mixture
of amphetamine, caffeine and other substances.
The drug has also a high content of mercury.
Now Tee will have to face a penalty of up to 10 years in prison.
Our remaining team is still shocked,
we didn´t had any suspicion, that he would do something like that.
He put us all at a very high risk.
Fortunatly the police didn´t find drugs in our house,
if they had found, we would be all in prison.

But that was just the top of the iceberg.
Tee has stolen a lot of money and sold all our lenses and filters,
he sold his motorbike and another one
was confiscated by the police,
because it was used for a crime.
Tee´s friend, as we know now,
a drug addict, has stolen a digital camera
and a new notebook.

Our team is very sad now,
first we lost a good friend,
a good photographer and teacher,
but also we lost a lot of equipment
and money, which brought us a complete production stop.
We still have a few stories and images in the pipeline,
but the clouds are very dark for us at this time.

Update:
Tee has died in Chiang Mai prison at 31.12.2009
