    Inside a Chinese Dragon

    By admin | März 14, 2010

Did You ever wanted to know, how it looks inside a chinese dragon ?
    We will show You !
A while ago we went to a chinese temple in Chiang Mai, North Thailand,
    called “Kuan Yin Boddhisatva Hall”.
We heard, that there is an enormous colourful chinese Dragon.
What people told us about the Kuan Yin Boddhisatva Hall was an understatement
and we spent a few hours there. The most eye-catching item
in that temple is the huge, very colourful and also walkable
chinese dragon, which leads to the top of the temple,
    the statue of Kuan Yin.

Before You step in the chinese dragon, You should light 3 incense sticks
    in honour to Kuan Yin.
Inside the dragon, the walls are completly covered with paintings,
telling stories from the life of Lord Buddha and chinese myths.

We can highly recommend to visit
The Kuan Yin Boddhisatva Hall in Chiang Mai, North Thailand.
The temple is maintained by nuns and is a real masterpiece of religious art.
