Chalermchai Kositpipat Stop Alcohol Sculpture Thailand

    By admin | Mai 3, 2010

For sure, Chalermchai Kositpipat is the most well known artist
for contemporary and Buddhist art from Thailand.
At his architectonic masterpiece, the Wat Rong Khun (White Temple),
near Chiang Rai in North Thailand,
    we discovered Chalermchai Kositpipat´s outstanding
    Stop Alcohol Sculpture.
To restrain from alcohol and other substances, like drugs,
that causes heedlessness, is one of the five precepts (five virtues),
which constitutes the basic Buddhist code of ethics.

The Stop Alcohol Sculpture by Chalermchai Kositpipat can be seen
in the entrance area of the White Temple,
nearby his also remarkable Non Smoking Sign.
