Red Yellow Green Light The Jelly Lights
By admin | August 24, 2009
A few days ago we went to a market in Chiang Mai, North Thailand
and been attracted by the red, green and yellow jelly.
We decided to buy a few to illustrate an article about
Thai sweets (Kanom Thai).
In the evening, while the heat of the day was gone,
I gave the Jelly to our photographer trainee Chocolate.
he went to our small photostudio and started the jelly photo shooting.
About 2 hours later he presented me the chip card
with a big smile…Let´s have a look, he said.
What should I say, I was very impressed !!!
How You got the idea to assemble the Jelly like a traffic light,
I asked him ?
You should know I´m a young kid
and young kids like to play around, he answered.

So at least You catched the train to the jelly land,
so let´s explain a bit what´s behind the story.
In the past our team was mostly working with models,
but that is an expensive task.
While the whole world has been hit by an financial crisis,
we had to face a decrease of our income by more than 60 %.
About 2 month ago we had to stop all kind of model photography,
fortunatly we have a few more images in the pipeline for the future,
but we can´t finish our photo storys.
This means red light for model photography
and possibly the end of the whole project.

The yellow lights marks our current situation,
we had to switch over to cheaper photo shootings,
save money and work with the equipment,
what we already have.

Green is the colour of hope
and for sure we all hope that the future will be better.
We really don´t like to commercialize Thailand Art Photography,
we don´t want the site full of advertisements,
but is there a way around ?
Yes !!!
We ask our precious readers to support our work.
Do You like our work ???
Did You enjoy the stay on our site,
so why not donating a small amount of money,
every single cent will help to let our project survive.
Also we are searching urgently for sponsors.
Please let the green light shine !!!
