Don´t play with Your food,
wasn´t the motto, if we started to work on our Mexican eggs,
Huevos Divorciados. The meaning of Huevos Divorciados is
divorced eggs and yes the eggs are divorced by a barrier of
tortilla and Frijoles refritos (refried beans).
Skulls are significant for Mexico
and so, the idea for that crazy food arrangement was born.
Chocolate and Nat did the carving work on the quail eggs
and I myself had to prepare the Salsa roja and the Salsa verde.
The Huevos Divorciados (divorced eggs) has been delicious
and in Mexico they are a traditional breakfast,
but without that skull-like outfit.
