Chinese Guardian Lions Foo
By admin | Juli 10, 2010
Chinese guardian lions, also called Foo (Fu) Lions
are believed to have protective powers.
The Foo lions are found at entrances to chinese temples,
government offices, Emperor palaces
and also in front of houses of wealthy people.
The chinese guardian lions foo are always represented in pairs,
According to Feng Shui the female lion is placed on the left
and the male lion on the right.
The female Foo has a cup in her left paw,
which represents the cycle of life.
The male Foo has a ball under his right paw,
which represents the flower of life,
a symbol of sacred geometry.
